ABOUT ME

Sharo is an artist and writer in Central Florida. Sharo’s written work tends towards a mix of horror, quiet surrealism, and speculative fiction. Common themes include trauma, disability, complicated relationships, Florida weirdness, and personal discovery.

Fun Sharo Fact: Sharo is left-handed!

Likes: Terry Pratchett’s Discworld, Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, Martha Wells’ The Murderbot Diaries, Old Gods of Appalachia, The Magnus Archives, Jessi Sheron’s The Other Happy Place, Baja Blast, Twinings Ultra Spice Chai, clowns, lobsters, fancy charcuterie boards, sweets, em dashes, making lists, the Oxford comma, and researching Florida history.

Dislikes: Pickles, chicharrones, any food that leaves sticky or colorful dust/crumbs everywhere, standing in lines for any reason, keyboards that don’t have an em dash key, talking on the phone, and socks that disintegrate within months of buying them.

Sharo can be found visiting Florida’s state parks, events like Halloween Horror Nights and Howl-O-Scream, or strolling around on walking ghost tours around the state.
